The Mackman Group is proud of the following business awards.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has announced the finalists of its annual awards and we have cause to celebrate! From numerous entries across the country, we’ve made it into the final of the Education category.
We put forward an Awareness Campaign for Harlow College. The project involved our research, strategy, design, development and communications teams, aiming to increase awareness of the College’s number one status. The campaign increased student enrollment by 19% (against a 10% target) and resulted in a ROMI of 1:20.9 over a year.
Paul Mackman, Director at Mackman, said: “These awards are the ultimate for our industry and we are very pleased with the achievement.”
The awards ceremony takes place at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, on the 12th February. Take a look at our entry here.
Winner of the business award in the Outstanding business contribution to the well being of the community/district category in 2013. Recognising the ongoing commitment by Mackman to support local charities and community groups, often donating our expertise for free.
Independent recruitment agents, Prime Appointments, came to visit Mackman Group earlier this year with a request for a website which would really make them stand out from the crowd. Scooping the top prize at the Suffolk Recruitment Awards 2010 proves they have done just that. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved with the site – our technicians and designers here at Mackman and, of course, the staff at Prime Appointments for their vision, professionalism and energy through the development and upkeep of the site.
Since the website’s launch in June, the company has seen significant increase in traffic to its site and some giant leaps on search engine rankings. At Mackman, we’re really proud of the freshness of the site’s design and the crucial behind-the-scenes site architecture which makes the site intuitive, fast and user-friendly. Prime Appointments has always focused on taking the drudge out of job-seeking and delivering a personal, premium service to both recruiters and job-seekers. Mackman achieved a win in the Excellence in Marketing category 2010 for Colchester based auctioneer clients Reeman Dansie. Mackman planned and implemented the company’s marketing strategy this year, including re-branding, a new website and a spread of direct marketing and PR campaigns. Pinpointing the marketing mix to most effectively grow the company’s business this year has been a challenge that Mackman staff have relished. We’ve all been involved, to some degree or another, and it’s wonderful to have our work with Reeman Dansie recognised by the business community in this way.
A key part of the marketing programme this year has been the design and creation of Reeman Dansie’s new website www.reemandansie.com. Picking up the marketing prize at the Colchester and District Business Awards is really the cherry on the cake as far as the new website goes. The site has already significantly increased the company’s business, attracting over 100,000 hits per week in busy periods and its success has attracted the attention of the regional press and business community well before the awards achievement.
‘The new website has definitely increased our customer base throughout the world,’ explains Reeman’s James Grinter. Looking forward, Mr Grinter commented, ‘The increased business has continued to grow in our antiques and collectors’ sales so far this year and I am confident that it will continue to grow.’
