The team of exploringUcounselling will be freefalling 10,000 feet to raise money for Brake, a road safety charity. Established in 2008, exploringUcounselling is based in the heart of Suffolk. The team helps people to understand themselves, simplifying life’s issues through the provision of a uniquely approachable counselling service.
This summer they’ll be supporting Brake, the charity which raises awareness among the public to stop road deaths and injuries and highlights the staggering fact that someone is killed every 30 seconds in a road crash.
The organisation has a portfolio of initiatives, such as ‘2young2die’ and ‘not a drop, not a drag’ which are aimed towards different road issues. They aim to educate children by getting them involved and raising awareness of road safety from an early age.
Brake’s long term vision is for a world where no one is killed or seriously injured in preventable road crashes, and communities are safe, sustainable places.
exploringUcounselling is supporting Brake’s vision by making a brave parachute jump this summer. Falling at over 120mph the team is aiming to raise £2000 by the end of July.
