Auctioneer’s marketing strategy win

Colchester clients, Reeman Dansie, won the  Excellence in Marketing category at the Colchester District Business Awards  last night. Mackman helped to plan and implement the company’s  marketing strategy this year, including re-branding, a new website and a spread of direct marketing and PR campaigns. Pinpointing the marketing mix to most effectively grow the company’s business this year has been a challenge that Mackman staff have relished. We’ve all been involved, to some degree or another, and it’s wonderful to have our work with Reeman Dansie recognised by the business community in this way.

A key part of the marketing programme this year has been the design and creation of Reeman Dansie’s new website  Picking up the marketing prize at the Colchester and District Business Awards is really the cherry on the cake as far as the new website goes. The site has already significantly increased the company’s business, attracting over 100,000 hits per week in busy periods and its success has attracted the attention of the regional press and business community well before the awards achievement.

‘The new website has definitely increased our customer base throughout the world,’ explains Reeman’s James Grinter. Looking forward, Mr Grinter commented, ‘The increased business has continued to grow in our antiques and collectors’ sales so far this year and I am confident that it will continue to grow.’
