Pinterest is a social network designed around uploading your own images, and tagging your favourite things other people have posted up. It’s causing quite a stir in the US, as it’s reached over 10m users in December last year and is reported to have reached 21m worldwide unique visitors per month.
The network is still accessible by invitation only, but is known for being very popular with 18-34 year old upper income women – who are a strong purchasing group.
