Mackman’s Working Weekend – A Bright New Look
We’re all tickled pink at Mackman after getting together this weekend to give one of our client’s premises (The Bridge Project, Sudbury) a much-needed lick of paint. The charity’s building now looks fantastic – and swapping our computer ‘mice’ and design tools for scrapers, putty and paintbrushes made a refreshing Friday afternoon change. (Which is not, however, how some locals are describing the choice of colours…)
With everyone pitching in over the course of the weekend and more than 100 man-hours behind us, dishevelled woodwork and flaky paint are a thing of the past at Bradbury Court. All paint and materials were dontated by Kent Blaxhill, Sudbury and new signage is being created by Premier Signs and Displays in Colchester as I write. The bright new colours come from The Bridge Project’s logo, designed by the Mackman Group.

Thought I’d just offer my congratulations on the splendid colour scheme that the Mackman Group have introduced to the front of Bradbury Courtyard
As the Bridge Project’s former design consultant, I was never happy with the facade of the building at a time when there was very strong budget restraint, so this is a great improvement.
I trust that Babergh planners and more conservative members of the Sudbury Society will realise that this strikes exactly the right tenure for The Bridge Project and adds life and colour to a rather boring part of Gainsborough Street.
I also hope this bright new treatment brings a much deserved fresh awareness of the Bridge Project and its amazing acheivements

Thank you for your kind comments Robin we were very sorry to paint over some of the work that you had previously done – in particular the hand painted signage. Unfortunately we just didn’t have the resources to do everything.
