Mackman watching latest Google adjustments

Google

Google

Google is never far from our minds here at Mackman, with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) forming an important part of our web service.  This week, our internet professionals have learnt that Google has recently adjusted it’s well-guarded  search algorithms to “reduce rankings for low-quality sites,” and “provide better rankings for high-quality” ones. No one yet knows what this may mean for individual sites (what criteria does Google use to judge a site’s quality?) though it is estimated that about 11.8 percent of queries will be affected as a result of the changes.

‘Mackman will be carefully monitoring the sites we support and we will react quickly  to changes over the coming weeks in light of this most recent news,’ Paul Mackman explains.  ‘ Our sites are created to be search engine friendly from the outset and quality measures are built in and maintained as a matter of course. Site quality is more important than ever before and we are quietly confident that our sites will continue to perform well.’
