‘The Quay Theatre, is Sudbury, in honoured to be producing Tim Firth’s Calendar Girls this autumn. It is a story of loss, but also of inspirational courage and a testament to the power of friendship and family,’ says Sue Clark, Director. ‘The Sudbury Dramatic Society is raising funds for St. Nicholas Hospice, who provide practical, medical and spiritual support to local people and their families who are living with an illness that’s life threatening.’
The cast of Sudbury Dramatic Society’s Calendar Girls at The Quay Theatre are delighted to be producing a calendar, in association with Mackman, to raise more funds for this compassionate charity that does so much for our community. The money raised will enable the Society to re-vamp the hospice’s relatives’ room, which will mean more to a family than can be put into words. ‘We’re proud to be supporting the Sudbury Dramatic Society in the design and art direction of the calendar, and hope to see the calendars all around the town!’ says Bruce Burgoyne, Creative Lead at Mackman.
