The winners of the 2013 Marketing Excellence Awards will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in central London on 12 February 2014. This event celebrates outstanding marketing achievements, innovation and best practice. We are very excited at Mackman to be finalist in the “Education” sector for our Harlow College integrated marketing campaign which generated a huge return for the college. Catch us on page nine of the online finalists brochure and we will be sure to keep you updated with the results following the event on the 12th February. Fingers crossed.
This year’s regional CIM Spring Marketing Conference takes place in Norwich Cathedral on 27th March. Meet some of the region’s top marketing evangelists as they preach the good marketing practice gospel. With a mix of conference sessions and bite-size case studies, many from the B2B sector, you’ll come to realise the error of your ways and see ‘the light’. Full details will be released soon – but to whet your appetite our keynote speaker is Simon Anholt, who has some interesting and controversial views on the differences between brand, branding, brand identity and brand image (among other marketing topics).
Registration is from 10:00; the event starts at 10:30 and finishes at 16:00 with tickets from £50 including lunch. The early-bird price for this event is available until 21st February 2014. Please book online for this event. If you cannot do so, please call The Chartered Institute of Marketing on +44 (0)1628 427340.
